In one of the last projects of Marriott, in which DECIBEL took part, we successfully completed the task set by the client. Therefore, the hotel chain again turned to DECIBEL to solve one of the current problems on the roof of the seven-star Freedom Hotel, which is located in the heart of the capital Tbilisi. In this case, it was a question of silencing a cooling tower located on the roof of a state-of-the-art hotel.

The facility measures 10x15x5 m. Noise is generated from the heat sinks, and its sound insulation has become our task. The soundproofing project presented to the client included the construction of a barrier of PZP panels, mounted on an 8-meter structure forming a barrier around the refrigerators. The roof barrier installed in this way, in addition to the sound insulation properties, the achievement of results and good vision, also had to withstand a wind load of 150 km per m2.
