- Acoustic Treatment of Kodar with Beelive and Echo Moon Panels
Acoustic Treatment of Kodar with Beelive and Echo Moon Panels

Project Overview
When the team at Kodar in Plovdiv began working in their new office space, they quickly realised that the impressive high ceilings also came with a downside: a persistent echo that disrupted conversations and focus.
Even with carpet flooring, the acoustics were far from comfortable. Wanting to provide their employees with a better working environment, they reached out to DECIBEL.
Through detailed communication and an acoustic study, we proposed a treatment that would transform the office both acoustically and visually.
Challenge
The large office space had high ceilings and reflective surfaces, creating a pronounced echo that affected communication and concentration.
The challenge was to design a solution remotely, ensuring both effective acoustic performance and alignment with the client’s design preferences.
Scope of Work
- Consultation and acoustic study
- Development of a tailored proposal with visual concepts
- Supply of textile acoustic panels in hexagonal (Beelive) and circular (Echo Moon) shapes
- Customisation of panels in Kodar’s company colours and patterns
- Delivery and support for installation
Solution
DECIBEL recommended a mix of Beelive hexagonal panels and Echo Moon circular ceiling panels to reduce reverberation while adding a modern, creative aesthetic to the office.
The panels were finished in Kodar’s corporate colours and arranged in a unique pattern chosen by the client, ensuring that the design reflected the company’s identity while delivering effective acoustic control.
Result
The completed installation significantly improved speech clarity and reduced echo, creating a more comfortable and productive workspace.
The customised panels added character and design appeal, seamlessly blending acoustics with aesthetics.
Kodar was so pleased with the results that they decided to extend the treatment to another room in the near future.
