Sun&Dunav faced a significant acoustic challenge: their stunning glass-walled conference room created a persistent, distracting echo that made remote meetings fatiguing and difficult to follow.

The primary challenge for DECIBEL was twofold: first, to effectively absorb sound reflections in a room with no traditional walls for mounting solutions, and second, to implement a fix that respected the room's modern aesthetics without a costly renovation.

Solution

DECIBEL proposed an elegant and non-invasive solution: a series of high-performance fabric-wrapped acoustic panels suspended from the meeting room ceiling.

This approach directly addressed the echo without requiring permanent alteration to the glass walls. We collaborated closely with the Sun&Dunav team to select a dark panel finish that created a striking visual contrast against the white ceiling, turning a functional necessity into a design feature.

Our technicians meticulously mapped the ceiling grid to ensure a perfectly symmetrical layout that artfully avoided all light fixtures.
