DCvisco™ is a high-performance viscoelastic membrane designed to be the ultimate efficiency upgrade for soundproofing systems. Made from PVC with 80% recycled content, it offers both technical excellence and sustainability in one versatile product.

Thin, flexible, and lightweight, DCvisco™ integrates seamlessly into walls, ceilings, and partitions, enhancing soundproofing systems such as the MUTE SYSTEM™, C-MUTE SYSTEM™ or C-BLOCK SYSTEM™. Its elasticity allows it to attach to both flat and curved surfaces. DCvisco™ adapts to any shape while delivering consistent results.

How It Works

Placed between two gypsumboard layers, DCvisco™ acts as a vibration-damping and sound-insulating core. The more dense a system is, the better it prevents the transfer of medium and high-frequency noise, particularly in high-resonance ranges.

In the MUTE SYSTEM™, DCvisco™ is typically applied to the panels before installing a gypsum plasterboard layer, creating a dense, layered barrier that further blocks airborne sound. Independent testing confirms its ability to improve overall system performance.

Installation Overview

DCvisco™ is designed for simple installation. The membrane is stapled or glued to soundproofing panels, such as the MUTE SYSTEM™, or directly onto surfaces before the application of plasterboard. Its lightweight nature makes it easy to handle. Completely DIY-friendly - no special tools are needed.
