PM 43Re is a premium soundproofing and fire-resistant door designed to provide exceptional sound insulation and refined aesthetics in professional and architectural spaces. Combining advanced acoustic engineering with elegant wood finishes, it offers an ideal solution for offices, hotels, classrooms, clinics, and meeting rooms where both style and performance matter.

With a total thickness of 64 mm, PM 43Re achieves a certified sound reduction of 46 dB and provides fire resistance up to 30 minutes. Built to strict standards and tested by LAIC (report 8-133/05), it delivers a balance of noise isolation, durability, and visual harmony suitable for high-traffic environments.

How It Works

PM 43Re’s high soundproofing performance is achieved through its heavy central core combined with two sound-absorbing chambers completely filled with acoustic and damping material. This structure significantly reduces airborne noise transmission, ensuring quiet and comfort in adjoining rooms.

The door’s perimeter features a special double sealant profile, which creates a continuous airtight barrier around the frame. At floor level, a mechanical drop-seal system prevents leakage through the threshold. The design includes wood-coated steel sheets and a metal frame with internal absorbent lining, combining rigidity and absorption for optimal soundproofing.

Key Benefits

  • Achieves a certified Rw = 46 dB reduction in airborne noise for greater acoustic comfort.
  • Provides 30-minute fire resistance, ensuring added safety and compliance.
  • Creates peaceful environments in hotels, clinics, offices, and classrooms.
  • Wood-coated surface brings a warm, natural look to professional interiors.
  • Requires minimal maintenance and offers long-term durability.
  • Easy to integrate into both new and existing building structures.

Installation Overview

PM 43Re is supplied as a complete door system including frame, lock, hinges, and seals. The frame extends around the full perimeter, except at the floor, where the mechanical drop seal maintains acoustic continuity. It can be fixed using anchors or pre-drilled holes for screw installation, depending on the supporting wall type.

Available in single- or double-leaf versions, PM 43Re adapts to various architectural layouts while maintaining consistent acoustic and safety performance.
